This is a rare masterpiece from the workshop of celebrated Master Artisan Kim Young-soo. The tea set is crafted using the double-openwork (ijung-tugak) technique, an incredibly advanced skill where a delicate, carved outer wall encases a solid inner cup. The success rate for creating these pieces is very low, and only a handful of the most skilled potters can accomplish it. While priced higher than other ceramics, its value as a rare work of art is exceptional.
